Suntec City (Carrefour)

Yes... we did end up in Suntec City. But we were much more intelligent and experienced (learnt the hard way)... the plan was to leave Sophie with papa and only mama would enter the lion's den (Carrefour) to brave the crowd and desperate shoppers... Papa has a colleague who was working at the SCB (Suntec City branch) so he took Sophie there while waiting.

Meanwhile, mama found the Organic Baby food and was about to head for the cashier when the sales people told me that it would cost $0.30 less per bottle if I chose to pay at their own counter. Eh... that would be nice, since I was buying 20 bottles. Okay, the catch was that their visa and nets machine were not ready yet so I need cash. Poor mama! I have not been carrying much cash since I stopped working... so I dumped the stuff with them, ran out to the nearest ATM and withdrew some cash, then ran back to make payment. Feeling proud of myself for saving some money, I continued shopping... buying some diapers, wet wipes and even cereal for Sophie... Opps... Suddenly, I realised I could not carry so much weight... probably weighed more than Sophie... fortunately, papa was at the cashier waiting...

We stopped by Bakerzin for some dessert before we headed for home... it was already 3 plus... As usual, Sophie smiled at the waitress and blinked blinked. Yeah, we had a free babysitter as we ate... well, for a while anyway!
