Loy Family @ Hong Kong (Day 2)

Ahhh... Brand new day in the bustling urban jungle, Hong Kong, Kowloon... So vibrant, so full of vigor and life... so noisy, bright and crowded... I woke up with a migraine headache!!! Whenever I have got a migraine headache, every sound, sight and even smell is amplified and I lose my senses and balance. It became extremely difficult for me to cater to Sophie's needs, especially with her idiosyncratic eating habits. What a way to start the day!

Maybe things would eventually become better as the day unfolded itself... not really. We took the ferry across the sea to Hong Kong Island and I nearly died. Thanks to my migraine, I had a serious case of seasickness and I did not really want to puke over Sophie, who was strapped onto me. I kinda looked forlorn and miserable throughout the ferry ride (around 10 minutes but seemed like eternity). Not good at all...

The rest of the day, honestly, I could not quite recall. I was too busy trying to keep myself from exploding from the over stimulation. I knew I did not enjoy our lunch because Sophie was very cranky and agitated by the "clink-clank-wah-woo" in the restaurant. I do believe poor Papa cushioned the impact of my killer blows when my missiles were firing amok without mercy at everything in my path.

After a few rounds of aimless walking around, we ended up back at the shopping arcade in our hotel. Sigh... we ate our dinner at a bakery and went back to our room. I thought it would be good to do a video clip on the "lok-kok" cot that the hotel gave us.
