I was walking Alfee in his pram when we came across a carpark. It was an ordinary neighbourhood and the carpark was quite deserted. We usually just walked past it without a second glance, but today, it was different. I heard the creature first... it was a chilling howl. I have heard of howls but never so close or so loud. Then I saw a greyish black stray standing in the middle of the carpark, howling. I don't think I'm a superstitious person, but its howls sent chills down my spine. With Alfee, I wasn't too ready to stop and find out more, so I quickened my steps in hope to get Alfee as far away from the dog as possible. Alfee, on the other hand, was quite curious about the howl. He kept asking me what it was and when it called out the second time, Alfee tried calling back. I'm not sure why but a howling dog in the broad daylight didn't seem too normal to me.
