We took the kids to East Coast Park and they insisted on fishing. We really think it's a cruel sport but the kids really enjoy fishing those poor guppies out of the water. It's highly addictive, if you ask me. The kids felt powerful with a net in their hands. They were like the giant monsters in Godzilla movie.
We had to tell the kids to put the fish back after they had caught them. They didn't mind. They hate seeing the fish die in a tank anyway. They just enjoy catching and feeling the fish in their hands.
In the afternoon, we went to MBS and found ourselves watching others ice-skate, but it wasn't really ice they are skating on. Sophie was surprising determined to balance. In no time, she was moving around quite comfortably with Papa. And Alfee missed all that because he was sleeping.
