It's the September school holidays, so we organised a trip to the Singapore Art Museum. The kids had fun running around the enchanted garden painted with alternative fairytales. Sophie made kaleidoscopes and drew some pictures.
Alfee kept the staff busy and nervous as he sprinted around, uninhibited. I suppose if they didn't expect kids to play and run around, they should never set it up like this. I felt sorry for the staff after they spent so long chasing after my son, so I stopped him and brought him away to other exhibits.
I think the kids love the thought of playing in fairytale land. The paintings on the walls are lovely and imaginative. Too bad they were too engrossed with playing to pay much attention to the details.
As usual, we went back straight after the visit. My kids couldn't sustain that long. They run out of energy fairly quickly.
