Ocean & Rainbow

After seeing how Sophie taught herself to read “OCEAN” in the bathtub, I felt motivated to look for a new way of teaching her words. We painted an ocean scene on an index card and then I pasted the word “OCEAN” on it. Next, we drew a picture of a rainbow and pasted the word “RAINBOW” on it. We talked about the pictures and the words until Sophie was able to remember them.
