I even got Sophie to do some colouring! She did a dot-to-dot apple tree, then she tried to colour it. She was such a rascal at times. She did not want to finish colouring the leaves so she left part of it blank. When I asked her, she said, "... the leaves all dropped, so no more to colour..."
But where could we go? Half of the day was already over. So, we decided we should just take a walk in the shopping area and visit Queen Victoria Building (QVB).
Really, the most exciting thing that happened... Sophie chit chatted with an Amerian mum and her toddler. Strange as it might sound, I think Kiasuism is universal when our offsprings are concerned. In this case, I think they would fondly refer it as 'competitiveness' or 'benchmarking'. The mum was quite impressed by Sophie's Minnie Mouse camera (really...I mean I regret buying because of its low pixel) and asked where she could buy it. Then she went on telling (or boosting) I do not know, how her daughter loved Minnie Mouse after spending her second birthday at Disneyland. Her daughter also called Sophie a 'baby' (her mum smiled at her instead of telling her to be polite) when she saw Sophie with her milk bottle. I agree Sophie has passed her time with the milk bottle but a little sensitivivity would be great.
