I read Sophie The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle. It was a little long but she was quite engaged nevertheless. After that, I tried creating a little garden and greenhouse for her. It was too easy to make and I was reluctant to decorate it before the green beans germinate. I have no talent for growing anything but we would try again. I also wanted to try growing the beans in glass containers, just to compare the outcome.
