He's Okay

Papa and I spent the entire morning TMC with Alfee. He was given the 9 am appointment but the doctor was late and then we had to give him sedative (he threw up almost everything) which took some more time. The "little" tube that was used to insert into his penis was not as small as I had imagined. However, I must say he was not as distressed as I had imagined either. The doctor has to take 3 shots (different angle) so he injected the contrast into his bladder 3 times. After each shot, Alfee had to pee it out. Of course, I got all his pee because I was the one holding his legs. Papa held his arms because he was not comfortable with watching the procedure. By the third injection, we were quite done with Alfee's wailing. The doctor quickly ushered us away and told us to come back after he had peed. That was an agonising wait that ended with pee all over me again.

Fortunately, all ended well. Alfee is fine. No reflux. We were totally exhausted but still thankful that our little fellow is okay after all.
