Bishan Junction 8 Day

Today we attempted the impossible. Sophie and I went to Bishan Junction 8 to meet up with Kar Keng and Joshua. I cannot believe that I could actually put Sophie on a highchair and have my slice of chocolate cake and coffee (without papa). Although, it was not a peaceful and uninterrupted process, I did it. What an accomplishment!

After that, Kar Keng took me to Bishan National Library. I was impressed by their toddler-friendly setup. I reckon we would be revisiting the libray rather soon in the future. Meanwhile, Sophie slept through most of our time there. And when she did wake up, I changed her diapers and soon, it was time to go home...

"Sophie getting comfortable in the stool at the library..."

"We must take a picture or two for momento, right?"

I told Kar Keng that I never thought I could carry such a heavy load until I had to with Sophie. She gave me a bittersweet chuckle as she recalled how she has to do all sort of things in the car while driving Joshua around. We just have to bite the bullet and adapt to it, I guess...

Home at last... waiting for dinner to be served!
