Ronald's Invitation

"All dressed up and smiling... on the way out of the house... "

We were invited to Ronald's place for tea because we missed his little Princess Sofia's First Month celebration. We thought it through and came up with the perfect plan... we would feed her lunch at 12 pm, eat at Naenae's place after that, feed her milk by at 2.30 pm and take her to Ronald's place after her short, 30-minute nap. We estimated that we could be at Ronald's place by 3.30 pm.

Well, Sophie took a much longer nap at Naenae's place. It must be the air-con because she woke up only at 3.30 pm. By the time we reached papa's car, we were 45 minutes off schedule. It did not help when papa lost his way and Sophie decided to poo-poo in the car. She strained, screamed... and smelt really bad.

Poor girl! We reached Ronald's place at 4.30 pm and hurried to clean her up. Apparently, it was a huge one that spilt out of her diapers. Fortunately, Ann let us wash Sophie's bum and use her towel to wipe dry. Sophie was once again in her high spirits, playing with Haixin and touching Sofia... papa and mama on the other hand, were super embarrassed by the episode.

We left Ronald's place after Sophie had her dinner... with cupcakes made by Ann. I felt so jealous that she could actually find time to bake cupcakes while taking care of Sofia full-time. I can't even find time to eat! Quite a bit of guilt that I am not a very mother with "motherly" qualities...

We had wanted to go to Marina Square but we were all tired so we changed our mind. We decided to go to Thomson Plaza instead to get some baby food for Sophie and our dinner.... by the time we reached home, we were all exhausted.
