We did not do anything patriotic today. Instead of watching the National Day Parade on TV or wearing all red, we lazed around and flipped channels. We did, however, lowered Sophie's bed as she is now able to kneel and trying to stand up on her own. We try to encourage her by placing toys high up so that she can reach for them. Sophie loves challenges and she is very determined to accomplish what she sets out to do. She also responds very well to our praises, she will look at us and smile when we cheer and clap at her successful attempts.
