Our Saturday began with Yamaha as usual. We set off earlier so that we could sit at Starbucks for a cuppa and some cakes to kickstart our engine.
We are starting to let Alfee have more freedom and we hope to ditch the pram soon. Unlike Sophie, he was more willing to comply and stay put. Unfortunately, he also has shorten attention span. Despite his best efforts, he still cannot sit through.
Today, I watched Sophie as she interacted with the other girls in her class while waiting for her lesson to start. My little girl has favourites apparently and she wasn't too concerned about showing it although she wasn't mean to the other girls as well.
After Sophie's class, we stopped by Fox to look for warm clothings for the kids. It was amusing to see how Alfee enjoyed trying on sunglasses. He's just like his jie jie! Both of them were reluctant to leave the shop...
Next we headed off to Takashimaya for Sophie's art class. Usually, Alfee will play at the toy shop next to the studio. Boys will be boys, he loves trains.
Evening time, we went to Dexter's Birthday party. Time really flies! He's 1 year old already. Alfee seemed so big suddenly. He's no longer the baby anymore.
Yet, he's hardly stable. He runs around too much, especially when he's tired. Fortunately, he's agreeable to stay in his pram. Well, for most of the party anyway.
Every birthday celebration reminds us how precious our children are to us. Regardless of how tired they make us, how angry or frustrated we are, they are still an important and indispensable part of our lives.
