Misson Expo

Ok... the plan was to quickly complete Sophie's morning routine, with as little glitch as possible, and off we go to grab some good deals at Expo Hall 6B (Book Fair). We targeted to leave the house straight after her breakfast, before the crowd went in, and hopefully reach home by 3 pm, just in time for her afternoon milk feed and nap. I did not count on her sleeping in the middle of her breakfast...

So we waited half an hour for her to wake up before we set off... it was 10 am, a little behind time but still not too bad. We had hoped to reach Expo by 10 am, to be the first few customers. I am terribly phobic of crowds... Neither did I take into consideration that papa always manage to get lost... by the time we reached Expo, it was already 11 plus... Still, our spirits were not at all dampened as we browsed around for afforable books and educational toys.

Soon, Sophie became rather restless so papa let her play with a monkey... apparently, she was more interested in that stuffed animal than books. Then again, who wouldn't?

Finally, we were done with the book fair... time for lunch, but Sophie was getting sleepy so I tried to induce a cat nap. As a result, we had a peaceful lunch at the food court for 15 minutes or so. Feeling lucky and "gangho", we went shopping with Sophie soundly asleep in her stroller. We managed to buy some casual wear, shoes and tidbits before Sophie woke up and demanded her lunch... So, we found a good spot, changed her diapers and fed her.

With that, we were done with Expo... maybe we should head for Carrefour to buy her some baby food... after all, it was only 1 plus...
