Music for the Intelligent Mind - Jump Start (Learning Horizon @The Grassroots' Club)

We have enrolled Sophie in the programme "Music for the Intelligent Mind (MIM) - Jump Start" by Learning Horizon at The Grassroots' Club. It is a music programme that gears children (as young as 1 year old) towards formal music training eventually. The class size is very small, only 4-6 children; so both parents are able to attend with the child. Unfortunately, the commencement date (3 Jan originally) has been postponed due to staffing issue. Maybe a blessing since she is not feeling too well. Hopefully, Sophie will be able to attend her first lesson on 10 Jan...

We hope that Sophie will enjoy herself... Of course she will! She loves music and she dances to almost all upbeat music... I know most parents will inevitably impose their own hopes and dreams onto their children and I am probably no exception. I want Sophie to be trained musically (play the piano or any musical instrument) because I never got the chance to... my parents did not believe that I could sustain the interest long enough to invest in a piano (they are probably right... hahaha). Of course it helps that Sophie actually enjoys music and she seems to be very keen and curious of Papa's guitar.
