Sophie - The Resilient

Happy New Year! Sophie is slowly recovering from her flu... without taking any antibiotics (Yeah!). Actually, it is probably too soon to tell if her condition has stabilised. She seemed to be coughing less and sleeping better. Thank God! However, her appetite has not quite returned yet. Today, I tried giving her fish slice beehoon and she took some quite well. She ate mee suan in chicken broth the other day. I think she really wants more salt in her diet. Her PD said that Sophie is quite a fussy eater so I should delay weaning her off her bottle. Also, she wants me to put more seasonings into her food. I guess that is inevitable...

We took Sophie out for a morning walk at MacRitchie Reservoir... in hope to let her take in some fresh air. It was quite surprisingly crowded actually. I was a little worried about those aggressive monkeys running around... I even saw one trying to grab someone's plastic bag! I did not let Sophie walk around too much because I know she would try to chase after those monkeys. But as usual, she was Papa's photographic model and I was just too fatigue to pose.

Back home, we gave Sophie a little new year present... Chocolate! Well, it is actually Combi teether that looks like chocolate bar.
