Kinderland, Here We Go...

Papa took leave for Naenae's medical appointment in the afternoon. When he came back before dinner time, he asked if we would like to get Sophie's enrolment in Kinderland Childcare done. And we did. We enrolled her in their half-day a.m. programme, starting July this year. They also have Kinderplay, a 3-hour daily programme. However, I feel that Sophie would benefit from longer hours (max. 6 hours) at childcare. She could have more time and opportunity for self-help skills and socialisation. Well, we shall see how she respond to childcare in July. In any case, I will probably let her attend childcare from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. initially.

  2. be prepared for tears... Phoebe cried for about 2 weeks when she was in Little Learners, some pushing and dragging too. But I was very hard hearted. The teacher, Mrs. Suppiah, was very good. She told me to GO. And I did. The teachers know how to handle them :)

  3. I think the staff at Kinderland very kind. They kept telling me tis normal for her to cry, in fact, better cry initially than later (aftershock)... In fact, I am required to attend wif her for the first 3 days or more to make sure everyone is comfortable with the new arrangement. I hope Sophie wont feel too much of separation anxiety...
