I still like the overall ambiance of Casa Verde @ The Botanic Gardens, even though I find the quality and quantity of its breakfast are somewhat not as impressive as before. What I really enjoy is watching my kids eat without any need to nag at them.
The kids always enjoy the little walk or run about after breakfast. Without any distractions, the kids can get along pretty well. They play and love each other's company. I don't know if this can be considered free play, but without any toys or extra gadgets, they are able to think of little games on the spot.
We came across this little exhibition and the kids were intrigued. They circled the exhibit a dozen times, mimicking structures that they found interesting. It's great that they have little inhibition as they did it.
We went to Vivocity for dinner. In between, we went home... napped and sent Sophie to her art class... all the usual stuff. At vivacity, we bought Sophie her pair of Timberland shoes for the trip. We are quite worried that the kids would get sick in such cold weather. We found The White Dog which looked and felt suspiciously like Swensons. The food reminded me of Rose somehow...
