Crab

We could not do any craft on yesterday because Mama was busy writing her CV to apply for an opening to train executive coaches. So today, I tried to let Sophie make a crab. She has been confusing crabs with frogs (don't think they look alike at all!) so I thought it would be good to make a crab that look very different from the origami frogs we had done earlier.

I drew the "claws" and legs on the paper plate before letting Sophie paint with the spong brush. Unfortunately, she was not very cooperative whenever Papa was around. In the end, I had to finish most of the work for her. She did applied the glitter glue happily though.

End product - Crab parts

Papa was very surpised when the crab was completed. He thought it would not turn out well (look at the above picture... could not blame him really...) but it actually looked quite nice.
