Perhaps all the excitement yesterday made Sophie restless and tired today. She did not sleep too well last night either. My little girl is a bit aversive towards loud noises, like her Mama, she prefers peace and quiet. I feel quite bad to have caused her so much distress actually.
Knowing that it would be tough to keep her awake in the mid-morning, I tried to engage her in more hands-on kind of activities - playdoh. I like the way she tried to manipulate the tools to create the effect she wanted. She is also a good observer because she would look at how I do it and then try to do it herself.
While she was playing with her playdoh, I made the letters "B" and "b" with jumping clay for her. It was not as easy as I thought... it turned out okay in the end... a little bigger than "A" and "a" but I do not mind.
