Actually, it was just a 25 min performance at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Although we had tickets, the response was poor so they allow the rest of the crowd to join in. Once the barricade was removed, my eyes widened in horror as the tsunami wave of Dora fans and their parents swept towards us at the public area. Fearful that my little Sophie would be knocked over, I grabbed hold of her and formed a semi-circle "force shield" with Papa to protect her.
Because we only got hold of the tickets yesterday evening, only Auntie Jessy, Xiao Ci and Yun Er could make it. Sadly, they were late so they missed most of the show... and Yun Er was sleeping too. Well, at least they got a free bag with Dora's picture on it! After the show, we walked around for a while before heading back. Papa dropped them off at Ang Mo Kio Hub because Xiao Ci had Art lessons at 4pm.
Papa was surprised to see Sophie so excited and eager to participate in the event. She was not even a fan of Dora. But she could sit through (or stand and dance through) the whole 25 minutes despite her sleepiness (her naptime). Furthermore, she had a great time interacting with Xiao Ci and Yun Er. I was so delighted to see her making friends so easily. My little social butterfly even befriended a parent who took many pictures of her and even showed them to her on his camera.
Too bad cldnt get another for yun er... Tis really nice to see our gals so happy playing together. Sophie is always playing wif adults, v different kind of interaction. Wif kids, she is less demanding n more willing to give in..
