Rose is sick so I have to cook for the family. It's sort of a blessing in disguise because I could do a bit of experimenting.
Because I needed to fetch the kids at different times in the afternoon, I had to prepare the food in stages. First I cook the quinoa and put it in the rice cooker to keep warm. Then I started chopping and peeling the vegetables. I thought of mixing the vegetables with the quinoa but I wanted to keep vegetables free so I separated them.
The kids said the food was good but both of them didn't finish their food. I was hoping the Loys would accept quinoa whole heartedly but I think they need more time. I thought the roasted chicken was quite well done because it was juicy inside and crispy on the outside.
It is really not easy to cook for me. By evening, I was too tired to do much. I merely gave Sophie a test for her 听写 tomorrow and did the letter 'L' with Alfee. And I ran out of energy after that.
