We Love Art Expression

After our session on letter 'N', Alfee helped himself with the foam sheets and started drawing his favourite Ultraman again. Then he changed his mind and called his second attempt 'Rabbit'. I must say he's slowly but steadily improving in his fine motor skills.

As usual, Sophie drew pictures of princes and princesses. She enjoyed the feel of drawing on a soft, padded foam. It prob provided a bit of friction as well so her drawing was much easier to control.

I told Rose to keep the stump part of the celery for me. And we used it for art today. However she cut off too much of the celery so the stalks were too close together to make a nice rose flower print. Despite that, the kids were happy to play with paint. Art has a therapeutic effect on the kids and I'm going take advantage of that. Wonder what we will do tomorrow...

Just before sleeptime, the kids did a bit of reading. Sophie likes to read to Alfee but she always ends up reading to herself.
