New teeth

Sophie has lost 3 milk teeth so far and they are being replaced by 2 adult teeth. Her dentist told us to expect this half a year ago. We didn't take it seriously but it really started happening a month or so back.

At first, we were worried when we saw the new teeth. We were hoping that the milk teeth would be pushed out properly. Apparently we have little to fear, Sophie was very diligent in pushing the milk teeth out herself! In fact, she even asked me to get the dentist to extract them. Well, luckily, I didn't waste money.

When she lost her first tooth, she asked to put her tooth under her pillow. The next morning, she found it gone and a dollar coin instead. She believed the tooth fairy took it and she was elated. However, the poor girl was later told by her friends that I was the one who probably placed the coin there. And she kept asking me if I was the one... she even said she wanted to stay up to see if the tooth fairy would really come. So innocent!
