Today, the school celebrated Children's Day in a quiet way. There wasn't any big concert or party... at least I didn't hear about it. In fact, this is the season to be more vigilant and conscious of hygiene and other possible factors that may help prevent the spread of hfmd and noro virus. Still, Alfee received a gift and made something to celebrate the day.
I haven't really looked at the kit, but it seems quite an usual gift. Sophie has got one too. She can't wait to start planting her 'cai sim'. I guess some parent might have sponsored the kits to the school. It would be fun for the kids.
Alfee came back without lunch. He vomited before we left the school and he vomited again in the cab when we arrived home. He has been complaining of stomach pain so I wasn't surprised. In fact, I was expecting diarrhea soon.
At the Eu Yen Sang clinc, Alfee was playing at the kid's corner while waiting for his turn. I noticed that Montessori has taken root in him. He's doing what he has been taught in school. I'm so happy.
As I was blogging, I received this picture from Alfee's principal. He's such a charmer!
