Sophie Woke up in the middle of the night, crying and wanting to go to her playroom. I did not know why she was so persistent so I let her go and observed her. It took me a while to realise she missed her toys and the activities she used to do everyday. She was totally lost and confused because her routine was changed dramatically quite suddenly.
We had to promise her that we would let her play with her playdoh first thing in the morning before she went back to bed reluctantly (with much coaxing). Indeed, she woke up at 6.30 am exactly and dashed out of her bed and made her way to her playroom in the dark. This time, we followed and let her play with her playdoh. Sophie spent 30 minutes just fiddling with the tools and a lump of playdoh. I took the chance to make her the letters "O" and "o" with jumping clay.
