Today's craft was meant to be simple because compared to the rest, it is definitely much easier to complete. All I had to do was to make the dot in "i" look as if it is part of the ice-cream cone without joining it to the cone. Hmm... Not too easy after all, it seemed. Anyway, I got Sophie to paint the letter white so that it would look brighter.
Next, I coloured the cone light brown and drew "criss cross" lines over it while Sophie dotted paint all over the "i". When she was done, I made a "cherry" for the ice-cream.
Due to the overdose of glitter glue, it took VERY long to dry. But once the pieces were almost dry, I pasted them onto a piece of construction paper. And left them to dry completely. So how did I solve the problem? Well, I attached cotton wool in the space between the "ice-cream" and "cone". That way, there is a slight hint that they are one entity yet technically, they are separated.
End Product - "i" for ice-cream
While I was busy trying to put everything together, Sophie grew bored and started messing up the leftover paint. When she ran out of paint, she began chewing on the brush... She was hilarious!
