It started out just like any other “Playdoh Time” with Sophie flattening the Playdoh before jabbing it with a plastic knife and rolling pin. I was about to sit back and relax with my video camera when she suddenly got intrigued by a piece of Playdoh stuck in the rolling pin. She tried various ways of getting it out but it only went deeper in. Finally, I handed her a longer plastic knife in hope to see if she could use it to get it out. Yeah!!! I was so thrilled when she used the plastic knife to push the Playdoh out of the rolling pin! And then she put it in again just to push it out with the plastic knife one more time… I watched in awe as she tried to figure out the solution to her problem by trial and error. I am so so proud of her.
I love making the letter "L" and "l" with jumping clay, they are one of the easiest to make! I was able to quickly do it and leave it to dry before Sophie finally kneading and hammering her Playdoh.
Good job! Sophie :) I think Sophie has more patient than Ethan ....I guess he inherited my impatience ..haaaa.....By the way, does the clay breaks easily once dried?
ReplyDeleteNo, I dun tink so. I din try to break it also... but it is light and it bounces...
ReplyDeleteAs for patience... hmm... she isnt... hahahaha
