When Papa's down, he's really down and out. He woke up this morning with a temperature. Actually, we were not sure the previous night if he was down with flu or he's got an allergic reaction so the whole night I was on standby, in case I need to send him to A&E. It didn't help that the kids took turns to wake up and bothered us in the middle of the night. By morning, he was very hot and whizzing badly. Although he was on already on antibiotics, he still coughs out thick, green phlegm, which suggests he's got a viral infection. I suspect it has to something to do with our little jog last night.
We went to the doctor's after sending Sophie to school and he was told to rest a couple of days. Initially, he still wanted to drive us to ballet class or take Alfee down to the playground, but he soon realised he could only rest in bed. His temperature shot up to 39.1 degrees even after Brufen by evening so I panicked a little. We were all in bad mood but our conversation with Alfee made us smile a little...
Papa: Alfee, do u love Mummy?
Alfee: Yes!
Papa: What do you love about Mummy?
Alfee: Mmm... I like Mummy kiss me!
Me:.. aw... Do u love Papa?
Alfee: Yes!
Me: What do you love about Papa?
Alfee: Mmmmm... I like to kiss Papa!
Papa: Hahaha..
