Sophie's obsessed with princesses, princes, castles, gowns and crowns. She has drawn soooo many pictures about her passion that I lost track of them. But I found this one of those more interesting ones she did. She usually draws herself very big... that's good because it shows she thinks she's very important, the main focus of the drawing. In this picture, she also drew a nice, stone castle with knights guarding the main entrance. I love how she added the squares to create the stone effect.
Alfee is at a stage that he wants to draw certain objects but he just doesn't have the fine motor skills to do it yet. So, he always asks us to draw fish or vehicles for him. It's interesting how he refuses to scribble on paper when we tell him to just draw what he wants. He knows what he wants but he's also aware that he can't do it. He insists that we must draw for him. So, Sophie usually says, "Ok, Jie Jie draw for you!" And this is the truck she drew for Alfee today.
