Alfee was doing water play with Papa while Sophie was swimming. The water was a little too chilly for the little man so I didn't let him go to the pool. Fortunately, he seemed to be having just as much fun. And of course, he made such a good model for Papa.
Papa could never resist taking the boy to the playground. He would always be overjoyed to see the other regulars at the playground. Boys are so much more in tuned with physical activities. After both kids went back, cleaned up and ate, they took a nap.
They were pleasantly surprised to see Ah Boh when they woke up. The kids love to have Ah Boh over because she will always indulge them with lots of play pretend games and she lets them talk all they want. We always say they talk too much!
Of course, Ah Boh is also very appreciative of their 'live concert'. Their latest gig is "We Built This City On Rock & Roll' and 'We Ain't Going To Take It!' (whatever) which has been rather well received!
Whatever possessed me to let them put on make-up? I suppose the thought of Twisted Sisters kinda triggered it.
After all the fooling around, we just put on some DVD to tame the kids. Almost immediately, they became absorbed and their eyes were glued to the screen. I don't approve of such things but the moment of relief, peace and quiet made me forget all my moral values. I think our sanity is more crucial at this point in time...
