So glad to be back at Casa Verde (The Botanic Gardens) for breakfast even though it was a rush for us this morning. I'm just happy that the kids get to chomp on better food for the morning. Cooking is never my helper's forte and since it's also my weakness... the rest of the family suffer.
We did have a few minutes to spare before we headed back for Yamaha lessons. The kids watched and mimicked a group of Taiji enthusiasts. Alfee was trying to do deep breathing and Sophie was getting him to do it right. It was quite a funny sight, really...
After Sophie's art class, we went to MBS for a walk before an early dinner. It was hot outside and freezing inside so I wasn't sure how to feel. We had our dinner, after much deliberation, at 鼎泰峰 (hope I got it right). We were early so there was no queue and the dinner was reasonably good. By the time we left the place, the crowd was starting to gather outside and waiting.
I saw two Japanese moms and their girls (about 4 - 5 of them) at table opposite of us. The girls were young, probably between 3 to 8 years old. They were so orderly and quiet at the table. They ate by themselves, there was hardly any sound from their table. The moms looked very well groomed and they drank beer with their dinner. I wonder why my kids aren't so orderly and cooperative over the dinner table. Is it me?!
