Tired of doing art and craft, we tried something different today. We did a little experiment with vinegar and baking soda. The chemical reaction was pretty predictable but the kids were ecstatic. I remember doing this kind of experiment only in upper primary or lower secondary school days. I didn't even know then the science behind all these chemical reaction. In fact, I doubt we were even close enough to the teacher to see what exactly happened. I think our kids are exposed to more at a younger age and everything is presented in a fun and engaging manner.
