The kids didn't have a good night's sleep. In fact, they have been disrupting each others' sleep. One would wake up at odd hours and then call out to the other to have some company. I'm the unfortunate innocent party who just happen to be a light sleeper. As a result, everyone was tired, cranky and lethargic.
But we still need to take Sophie to her Yamaha lessons. Papa took Alfee to Starbucks just outside Thomson Plaza. He needed somewhere with no air con because of his severely dry eyes. Meanwhile, I sat in with Sophie and I had trouble keeping awake.

Things were a little better after everyone got their nap. I was happy to be shopping at Art Friend while Sophie was attending her art class in Ngee Ann City. I found some great items for her party favours (nope, not telling...).
Alfee slept through Sophie's art class, giving us lots of quiet moments... When he finally woke up, we gobbled up some kuey lapis and drank packet milk. That has fast become our routine...
We headed for Marina Square for dinner. As the kids were pretty much inactive today, we gave them some playground time. I was happily combing Kiddy Palace for stuff to buy as Papa kept an eye on them.
Dinner was at Swenson. It wasn't a 'wow' but it was better than what we have to eat at home. We didn't really eat a lot also. After dinner, we spent some time walking around the open space before going back to the car.
By then I was really restless and irritated by the mundane and uneventful way we ended the day. So, Papa drove us to MBS area and we got off to take a stroll. We don't usually stroll at night because the kids sleep early. Yet, I desperately needed something to release all the pent-up frustrations. It was refreshing although at one point, I nearly throttled Sophie for her usually whiny self... Overall, it was a good walk.
