Alfee hasn't been sleeping well lately because of the early morning wake up call from Sophie. At Cherrytots, he's gone by 10 am. Today, I tried to keep him cheery with play pretend costumes. He liked being a fire fighter, with his red helmet and all. But still, that didn't make a tired and cranky boy smile.
The situation improved a lot after a nap, especially when he had Sophie to play with. The two of them sat together to do some fingerprinting with ink pads. They were very different in their approach. Sophie needed some cues and a sense of purpose in her work. Alfee just wanted to experiment with the ink pad and his fingerprinting.
