Nothing much happened today, but I was tired. At home, I gave up cutting my roll of paper from Ikea into the right size for Alfee to paint on. Instead, I just use a sheet of Today newspapers. He still enjoys painting so I guess it doesn't really matter to him. My only complaint is that it tears for too easily with the generous amount of paint he spreads on.
I checked Sophie's toe nail after days of neglect and found it dangling with just a tiny corner still connected to her skin. Within a day or two, it should fall off. But I couldn't help but wonder if she had been actively and gradually peeling it off every night. In any case, I put a plastic around it so that she won't kick or hurt herself accidentally.
