Cardboard Car

Alfee, like many boys, loves automobiles. Although he enjoys other toys (even dolls and kitchen toys), he remains true to his cars. Something about autonomy and speed he loves.

After breakfast this morning, I took Sophie's mini cereal boxes and declared today as 'Cardboard Car Day'! But it only took me a couple of minutes to realise i don't have any art materials. All my stuff is still in those dreaded boxes.

No problem, we can always make very primitive kind of cars with everyday items. I cut a box into halves for the top part of the cars, covering the opening with a piece of plastic wrapper (windscreen). I forgo other details because I was too lazy. I had wanted to paint the body with acrylic paint but I could not find ours anywhere accessible so I gave Alfee stickers.

Anyway, any other details would have been wasted since the moment he got his little destructive hands on the car, he started acting like the machine at work in a scrap metal garage.

the car before it was crushed...
