Seeing Red

Tis so interesting to see how all schools celebrate Singapore's National Day a day earlier. Everyone went to school in the morning and was dismissed by 10.30am. There were red and white everywhere... Apparently, all the patriotic outfits have been more or less bought by everyone! All sold out by last weekend. Gosh and there I was, thinking I could buy a set just a day before the celebrations!

It's quite touching to watch how the kids sing their hearts out and developing their sense of patriotism bit by bit. I don't necessarily think Singapore is a great country, especially in the recent years, but patriotism is very crucial to our existence as a nation.
