Special Glasses With Coloured Lenses |
It's Saturday, my medical appointment with Dr Kelvin Yip from Singapore Orthopaedic Specialist Clinic for my swollen bunion. Before we left the kids with our helper, I let them try on the special glasses with coloured lenses. The lenses are removable and can be slotted (max 2 lenses) to create a coloured vision effect. The kids were having fun mixing the lenses and creating different coloured vision for each eye. Great to learn about primary colours and how to get secondary colours like purple and green.

With that issue temporarily resolved, we headed for Bishan Park with the kids. I miss using my feet badly. I didn't realise how much I need my feet to carry out my daily chores. I wasn't able to walk much or play with the kids for the past month or so since the joint was constantly swollen and painful. I still need to et my feet rest to recover but at least they don't hurt as much anymore.
By the time we were done at Bishan Park. it was dinner time (cos we eat super early at 5pm). We went to IMM in hope of finding our dream study desk. Fortunately, dinner was blissful and enjoyable with minimal fuss. Probably because the kids were famished after the running around.
I'm so glad Alfee is not picky with food and he is starting to eat what we eat. I no longer have to worry about cooking his food if we are having dinner outside. He still prefers a little soup or steamed egg over his rice but in general, he's doing very well.
After dinner, we combed IMM for the ideal study table we want... nothing. It's like nobody bothers to design nice and function study desks. Maybe they think everyone likes to leave seatwork in office or in school, so no one will ever buy study tables. Next, we combed The Furniture Mall... nothing either. At last, we gave up our search and went home disappointed...
