Alfee's Back To Cherrytots

Lovely Sight...
Alfee is back to Cherrytots finally after his almost a month long episode of cough. He misses school and the children who would crowd around him whenever he's there. Before school began, Sophie grabbed her baby brother and offered to give him a ride on the tricycle. It was such an endearing sight that the Principal stopped our conversation and asked me to quickly take picture.

Playdough Station
I love the Playdough station. Although Playdough is not something new to Alfee, we usually have many containers of Playdough, tools and cutters all over the place. This makes it hard for the little man to focus and learn the skills needed to manipulate the Playdough. Thus, there is only one container of Playdough, one rolling pin, a knife and a few cutters in this set up. Alfee could concentrate in kneading, cutting and pinching.

Fine Motor Skills
Alfee is only beginning to use the fine motor manipulatives. He's actually quite good in his fine motor skills but he prefers to make a mess instead. I hope to start these activities at home once we move back by September.
Sorting...
I think Alfee is quite fast in his colours differentiation, numbers and motor skills. He's not too fantastic in his alphabet but that's because it is a little abstract for him. Hope to resume our letter learning soon...
