At Cherrybrook, Sophie was again trying to take her baby brother for a ride around the garden. However, she had a extra pillion today. She was having a bit of difficulty pedalling with the extra weight, so she kept saying, "Can you please get off? I can't move!" to her friend. I was quite glad to see how she tried to resolve a conflict without kicking up a big fuss... although she did look to my direction for help when she could not get her her friend to get off.
I'm never too good with training my kids to eat independently. I think I'm too bothered by food mess. Strange enough, I can tolerate art or physical mess but never organic sort of mess like mud or food. Alfee was quite alright to self feed actually but he also enjoys playing with his food and that makes it harder for me to let him eat independently.
