We bought these masks from Spotlight two Saturdays ago during our kitchen accessories hunt at Plaza Singapura. However, I was reluctant to do anything to it with the kids because all my art materials are still in boxes. In the end, I had to buy some new glitter glue so that the kids can have a go at decorating the masks. I don't really like leaving supplies untouched for too long.
We painted a coat of white on the masks so that the colours would look more vibrant. But honestly, I doubt it had made any difference.
Alfee was dripping paint instead of painting. He seemed to be more fascinated by the drops of paint dripping from his brush than the actual painting. He was focused and genuinely serious about dripping paint all over the mask. As for Sophie, she likes to use all the colours she could find. By now, she could be left alone to do her own art pieces.

Of course, these aren't finished until there is glitter glue and other stuff stuck on it. Maybe it is a good thing my art materials are kept after all. Meanwhile, they are left to dry so that the kids can attack them again tomorrow.
That little bit of painting would never satisfy my kids so they continued their painting on paper after they were done with their masks. By now, their paints were all mixed up so the colours looked kind of dirty.
