With all the drama, I lost my appetite to finish the rest of my lunch. Their food is good and my kids love all the fried stuff, but I left the food for too long. Alfee made friends while I was away, totally charming the waiter off with his chatty personality.
Back in the art class, Sophie was doing the finishing touches on her painting. She did a still life of assorted objects. She picked a chicken, some flowers and toys. As usual, it looks awfully pink. Sophie is actually the little girl in Pinkalicious, I often think. Her work took a while longer to dry because she had been very generous with the paint.
After class, Sophie was very hungry so I gave her some bread and milo. One thing I don't like about this art school - they use oil pastels and acrylic paint all the time. They are really hard to wash off.
Perhaps we were really tired because Rose was on leave and we had to manage the kids by ourselves. We decided to go home and order in our dinner. The kids watched TV as we rested. They were almost glued to the TV. In a way, that's not entirely a bad thing because I heard of kids who were not even keen on watching TV, finding them too passive. They want the applications in iPad or iPhone, more animated and interactive.
