After all the running around last night (for just 1 hr) at Cherrybrook, Sophie coughed like mad in the night. I think the weather was too hot and humid and she didn't drink enough water. It didn't help that she was already coughing for the past week. So this morning, I took her to the clinic and we skipped Yamaha class. We ate some breakfast at Delifrance while waiting for the doctor.
The queue and wait was long and unbearable with so many sick children and worried parents. Sophie was very obedient, she didn't whine or protest when I told her to sit with me and draw. I didn't want any cross contamination so I usually don't allow her to play with other children. She drew many pictures and even made friends with some kids and their parents while doing that. They were so impressed by her drawings. I wasn't really paying much attention to her drawings and thought they look normal. But I guess I take it for granted that she could draw well and she learns how on her own. Although I tried teaching her when she was younger, I gave up and let her learn on her own after getting into too many fights with her. Now, she comes to me occasionally to ask for instructions in drawing. And I usually take those opportunities to teach her as much as possible, before she takes off again.
While we were away, Papa spent quality playing time with Alfee, which essentially meant that he takes pictures while Alfee plays.
Papa likes to take Alfee out to the playground to exhaust him. And judging from his pictures, Alfee enjoyed it as well. Boys will be boys, I guess...
