Water Babies

Sophie's always a challenge to my sanity and self control. Funny that I keep trying to help her develop self discipline yet I have trouble maintaining my cool with her...

Anyway, she's not particularly talented in swimming and after a year or so, she's still struggling to coordinate her limbs. Her peers are progressing well so for a period of time, I thought of stopping her swimming lessons. Perhaps the streak of stubbornness in me kept me from giving up on her... at least in her swimming abilities.

Now, she seems a little better. She's progressing, not very quickly, but steadily. She no longer whines and throw tantrums in the pool as well. Occasionally, she might lose focus though. Thus I'm always at the poolside to keep an eye on her.

Alfee is however, more at ease in water. Maybe it's because we start him earlier than Sophie. He also has floats and toys to distract him in the water. He's definitely more of a water baby than Sophie.
